Liebster Awards

The blogging world is a huge one - so when I come across a blog that I love and can resonate with, it really puts a smile on my face.  I was reading one of these said blogs and saw that Vanessa had very kindly mentioned me for a Liebster Award on her blog.

I had heard of this before but had to do a bit of research to remind myself - basically it's an online award where bloggers nominate/do a shout out of their favourite blogs who have around 200 followers or less.  What a lovely gesture - thank you Vanessa ❤️

Vanessa lives in Chicago with her husband and gorgeous baby boy & writes about motherhood & project life amongst other things - be sure to check it out.

So in turn, here are my favourite blogs who I nominate with a set of 5 questions for you guys to answer if you fancy it.

Nikki and Nicholas - Mama to Jordan and Banjoe the bulldog, lives in the Mother city - Cape Town and blogs about motherhood, DIY, daily life and all things gorgeous!

Lazy Daisy Jones - this beautiful lady is an incredible sewer, knitter & crocheter and is such an inspiration! Check out her blog for some awesome restoration projects and her creations.

Sea field and Tribe - Chelsea lives on the little island of Peurto Rico in the Caribbean and loves to share recipes, DIYs but especially how to live a cleaner, greener lifestyle, she has some awesome ideas on this subject and its all totally do-able too!

The Velvet Doe - Laura, based in Australia, has been a bit quiet on her blog lately but I still love her style and she shares some delicious recipes too!

Wild honey - Ffion's photography is stunning and her calligraphy skills are amazing - I love her instagram feed and her newly designed blog is just exquisite.

1. If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?
Cape Town - this will always be my home and where my heart resides.
2. How do you take your coffee or tea? And how many cups a day?
Black coffee or herbal teas - not a fan of traditional tea!
3. Where is your heritage from?
Born in the UK, grew up in South Africa, my parents are from Zimbabwe though.
4. What is your favorite zoo animal?
Giraffe!
5. What are your go-to, typical daily meals?
Pasta, stir-fry or a curry.
6. What would you do if you won the lottery?
Travel, invest and have lots of fun!
7. What is your Myers-Briggs/Jung Personality Type?
Not sure, will do this when I have more time :)
8. What’s your favorite TV show?
Law & Order
9. Thing you miss from the 90s?
No cellphones!
10. What’s your biggest fear?
Dying
11. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? 
Keep it simple
